Handmade ceramic mug with pastel confetti glaze, housewarming gift

The white glaze on this mug has been splashed and sprayed with pastel shades (pink, turquoise, mint green, yellow) to create a confetti like effect. The base of the mug has also been left unglazed to create a contrast against the natural buff texture of the clay. These mugs are ideal coffee mugs or tea mugs and work perfectly on their own or as a set. All my pieces are stoneware pottery and glazed in food safe glazes.

PLEASE NOTE that these are not 'perfect', factory formed items and they each have their own unique charm! Each mug is formed individually by hand without using any moulds or a potter's wheel and will therefore have its own individual character, shape and imperfections.

As with any hand built item there will be some variation in size between pieces, which is part of their charm, so all dimensions are as accurate as possible.

As I am a small producer I am only able to make items in small batches, which means that on some occasions orders for multiple items will require making time, depending on my existing stock. Every item I make is carefully shaped and built by hand without a potter’s wheel and will need to dry for anywhere between one to three weeks before being fired twice up to 1225 degrees.
