This mug, perfect for a coffee or tea has been made entirely without a potter's wheel. The glaze is a beautiful blend of green, turquoise and blue, which all blend into each other, pulling downwards into suspended drips of glaze. The base of the cup is left unglazed to show the texture of the raw clay. Each cup is individually hand built and glazed in multiple layers of glaze and as such each one is truly unique.

Please note that this is not a 'perfect', factory formed item and will have its own unique charm! Each mug is formed individually by hand without using any moulds or a potter's wheel and will therefore have its own individual character, shape and imperfections.

As with any hand built item there will be some variation in size between pieces, which is part of their charm, so all dimensions are as accurate as possible.

As I am a small producer I am only able to make items in small batches, which means that on some occasions orders for multiple items will require making time, depending on my existing stock. Every item I make is carefully shaped and built by hand without a potter’s wheel and will need to dry for anywhere between one to two weeks before being fired twice up to 1225 degrees.
